In order to prevent the spread of infectious disease and to protect against the introduction of the disease into the territory of the Republic of Serbia, the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia will temporarily prohibit or restrict entry and movement, to all foreign nationals, regardless of their nationality.

Foreign nationals that are exempt from the mentioned restriction are:

1. Drivers and crew of freight vehicles in international road traffic;

2. Crew on freight ships carrying cargo to domestic ports;

3. Railroad personnel (train drivers/conductors etc.);

4. Airline cabin crew and pilots operating on flights whose final destination is the Republic of Serbia or that are transiting through the Republic of Serbia;

5. Persons who were issued entry/stay or transit permits for the Republic of Serbia by the competent body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia;

6. Humanitarian convoys with mandatory escort previously arranged through diplomatic channels;

7. Accredited members of diplomatic and consular representations and members of international organizations as well as their family members who are in possession of special ID cards i.e. ID documents issued by the MFA of the Republic of Serbia and the General Secretariat of the Government of Serbia;

8. Foreign nationals with residence permits (both temporary and permanent) in the Republic of Serbia.

Citizens of the Republic of Serbia coming from the countries or areas with intensive transmission of the disease Covid-19, or the focus of the epidemic, namely: Swiss Confederation, Republic of Italy, Islamic Republic of Iran, Romania, Kingdom of Spain, Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Republic of Austria, Republic of Slovenia and the Helenic Republiic are required to undergo a 28-day period of mandatory  quarantine in a restricted-access outdor facility (Morovic, Sid, Miratovacko polje, etc.).

Citizens of the Republic of Serbia coming from countries not listed above, will be obliged to undergo a 28-day self-isolation period as a measure of medical surveillance for severe acute respiratory syndrome cornovarisus (SARS-COV-2).
