The Kingdom of Norway has made a decision that from November 9, 2020, third-country nationals at the border crossing must present a negative test for Covid 19 -PCR or an antibody test, not older than 72 hours. The test can be in the following languages: Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, French or German. Also, from November 9, 2020, third-country nationals who do not have a permanent stay in Norway, are required to spend ten days in a quarantine hotel.

The price of staying in a quarantine hotel per night for individuals is NOK 500, or NOK 1500 per night, if the accommodation is paid by employer. A negative test for Covid 19 does not make shorter stay in a quarantine.
